What a changed
person looks like.
Formation is inward, but it does not remain invisible. Over time, the life within the person begins to appear in the way they respond, relate, endure, choose, and give themselves to what God is doing.

Fruit grows from the life of the tree.
Fruit is not a spiritual performance added to an unchanged person. It is the increasingly natural expression of a life being reordered around God. It may appear slowly, unevenly, and quietly—but it becomes real.
Peace*
A settled presence that is not governed by every threat, delay, or uncertain outcome.
Patience*
The freedom to remain faithful while people, circumstances, and growth take time.
Courage*
The ability to take the next right step while fear is still present.
Freedom*
Increasing space between impulse and choice, making a faithful response genuinely available.
Availability*
A life becoming ready for God’s purposes rather than consumed with protecting its own.

The goal of spiritual formation is not to become someone God might finally accept. It is to become increasingly able to live from the life already given to you in Christ.

A restored life becomes useful.
God does not restore the soul only for its own sake. The person He is forming becomes increasingly available to participate in His work among other people. That is where Join begins.
