Reforming the Soul

Notice What Is Driving You

What you notice in yourself is not random. Reactions often point toward something underneath: a desire, a fear, an expectation, or an attempt to stay in control.

What am I wanting, fearing, protecting, or trying to make happen?

LOOK BENEATH THE REACTION

A reaction is often protecting something.

When you feel yourself becoming defensive, withdrawing, reaching for your phone, or trying to force an outcome, pause. You do not have to explain yourself perfectly. Just become curious about what is moving beneath the surface.

A SIMPLE WAY TO NOTICE

Ask one honest question.

Choose the question that opens the most space. You do not need to answer all of them.

01

What do I want right now?

02

What am I trying to make happen?

03

What am I afraid will happen?

04

What am I trying to protect?

NOTICE THE REPEAT

Patterns become easier to see over time.

One moment may not tell you much. But repeated reactions begin to reveal what you expect, what you fear, and what you rely on to feel safe. Awareness is not self-accusation. It is an invitation to see clearly.

What you are noticing did not come from nowhere.

Something has been forming the way you see, expect, desire, and respond.
